A lifetime collection of simple and easy to prepare recipes from Annie's Recipe Kitchen. These are recipes that I have collected over the years  and put into a shoebox to organize at a later time.  This is my attempt to organize them.

Microwave Reheating Chart

1 serving of meat at room temperature - microwave at medium-high (70%) for 1 1/2 to 3 minutes with the meaty portions to outside; cover with waxed paper.

2 servings of vegetables at room temperature - microwave at medium-high (70%) for 1 1/2 to 3 minutes with bulky vegetables to outside; cover with waxed paper.


MEAT: (chicken pieces, chops, hamburgers, meatloaf slices)
1 serving, refrigerated, at medium-high (70%) for 1-2 minutes; cover loosely.

2 servings, refrigerated, at medium-high (70%) for 2 1/2 to 4 1/2 minutes; cover loosely.


MEAT SLICES: (beef, ham, pork, turkey)
1 or more servings, refrigerated, at medium (50%) for 1-3 minutes per serving; cover with gravy or paper; check after 30 seconds. At room temperature, microwave 45 seconds to 1 minute at medium (50%).


STIR-ABLE CASSEROLE AND MAIN DISHES
1 serving, refrigerated, microwave at high (100%) for 2-4 minutes; cover, stir after half the time.

2 servings, refrigerated, microwave at high (100%) for 4-6 minutes; cover, stir after half the time. 4-6 servings, refrigerated, microwave at high (100%) for 6-8 minutes; cover, stir after half the time.


NON-STIR-ABLE CASSEROLES
1 serving, refrigerated, microwave at medium (50%) for 5-8 minutes; cover with waxed paper.

2 servings, refrigerated, microwave at medium (50%) for 9-12 minutes; cover with waxed paper. 4-6 servings, refrigerated, microwave at medium (50%) for 13-16 minutes; cover with waxed paper.


VEGETABLES
1 serving (1/2 cup), refrigerated, microwave at high (100%) for 3/4 to 1 1/2 minutes; cover, stir after half the time.

2 servings (1 cup), refrigerated, microwave at high (100%) for 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 minutes; cover, stir after half the time.


ROLLS: (Breakfast or Dinner)
1 roll, room temperature, at high (100%) for 8-12 seconds; wrap roll in paper towels.

2 rolls, room temperature, at high (100%) for 11-15 seconds; line plate with paper towel, cover rolls with another towel.

4 rolls, room temperature, at high (100%) for 18-22 seconds; line plate with paper towel, cover rolls with another towel.


PIE
Whole, refrigerated, microwave at medium-high (70%) for 5-7 minutes. 1 slice, refrigerated, microwave at high (100%) for 30 seconds.
