2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons baking soda
3 cups flour
3/4 cup Crisco oil
6 tablespoons Hershey's Cocoa
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 teaspoons salt
2 cups cold water
1 teaspoons vanilla
Heat oven to 350°. Place all
ingredients, except 1 cup of the water, into a bowl. Stir
until smooth then add the rest of the water. Stir well. Pour
batter into a 9"x13" cake pan. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
May be eaten plain or iced with a butter icing.
